Recently, on the production line of the first phase of the forest pulp and paper integration project of Nine Dragons Paper (Hubei) Co., LTD., located in the White Snail Industrial Park of Jianli Economic Development Zone, high-grade wrapping paper is continuously coming from the large-scale production line.

The company is expected to complete the total industrial output value of 3 billion yuan in 2023, and the industrial storage tax exceeds 30 million yuan. Founded in July 2020, the company is the 9th paper base invested and constructed by Nine Dragons Paper Group in China. It covers a total area of 4045 mu and plans to invest 20.5 billion yuan to build an integrated project of forest pulp and paper with an annual output of 1.7 million tons of pulp and 3.4 million tons of high-grade wrapping paper. After completion of the project, the annual output value is expected to reach 23 billion yuan and the annual profit is about 3.6 billion yuan. Annual tax revenue of about 1.8 billion yuan, more than 3,000 new jobs.

The first phase of the project was officially put into operation on June 28, 2022. At present, the second phase of the project plans to build a total of 600,000 tons/annual production capacity of high-low weight cultural paper, and the paper workshop with two production lines is under construction and is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first half of 2025.

According to the environmental impact report of Nine Dragons Paper (Hubei) Co., LTD. 's Forest Pulp and Paper integrated expansion project (change), the company's main product plans after the change are an annual output of 650,000 tons of bleached chemical pulp, an annual output of 700,000 tons of bleached chemical machine pulp, an annual output of 1.2 million tons of science and technology environmental protection food grade plastic white cardboard, an annual output of 800,000 tons of white face cow cardboard and an annual output of 600,000 tons of cultural paper.

The main contents of the change include the increase of bleaching chemical pulp production capacity by 250,000 t/a, and the addition of an annual output of 350,000 t/a cultural paper production line and a cultural paper production line with an annual output of 250,000 t/a.

The supporting construction includes 4600tds/d alkali recovery furnace, 700t/d lime kiln,160t/h solid waste circulating fluidized bed boiler, a 60,000t /a waste salt zero-pole distance submembrane caustic soda production line, a 300,000t /a27.5% hydrogen peroxide production line, a 25,000t /a chlorine dioxide production line, a 46,000 t/a anhydrous aluminum trichloride production line, a 100,000 m3/d sewage treatment plant, a 140,000 m3d water treatment plant, etc., the total investment of the project is about 14.5 billion yuan.
